Job Description:

Duties: Designs and delivers robust and reliable engineering solutions

using Oracle, Informatica, Java, Python, and Cloud technologies. Creates

and maintains APIs using Java technologies. Develops cloud solutions

using S3, EC2, and Lamda. Performs Oracle, PL/SQL, and ETL development

and data analysis in high volume, highly available RDBMS, Cloud, and

NoSQL environments for a global customer base.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Produces data models, data flows, and data access layers to

acquire, store, and distribute data.

• Performs data certification, reconciliation, and purge

mechanisms.

• Designs and develops data solutions to be used by multiple teams

across organization.

• Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in

multiple platforms.

• Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several

divisional initiatives.

• Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to

implementation.

• Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance

testing.

• Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications

supporting several corporate initiatives.

• Plans and coordinates change and release management tasks.

• Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.

• Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.

• Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a

project.

• Performs independent and complex technical and functional

analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in

Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information

Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3)

years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience

performing database application design and data modeling within RDBMS,

cloud, and NoSQL environments; Or, alternatively, a Master’s degree (or

foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering,

Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a

closely related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered

or one (1) year of experience performing database application design and

data modeling within RDBMS, cloud, and NoSQL environments.

Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) performing

PL/SQL development within an Oracle environment using RESTful web

services to implement Data as a Service (DAAS) framework;

DE performing data analysis and data extraction within a data

integration framework using Informatica; designing search and analytical

functionality using Lucidworks Fusion; and developing data analysis

reports using Python;

DE designing and developing scalable database code and constructs, using

PL/SQL and UTPL/SQL for unit testing and TKPROF/XPLAN for performance

tuning;

DE performing version control and continuous integration of build,

deploy, and test, using Jenkins, Stash, and uDeploy.
