Job Description:
Duties: Project manages multiple technology initiatives and
determines project prioritization for mainframe and Web-based brokerage and
equity compensation application development initiatives. Manages
resources in the planning, design, development, test, deployment, and support of
releases and projects. Performs technical analysis and data mining within
a DB2 and Oracle environment. Primary Responsibilities: • Works across groups to identify opportunities for organization
wide technology initiatives. • Provides leadership to teams in broad technical areas and on
large, complex projects. • Serves as scrum master and helps project teams adhere to
scrum principles, practices, and rules. • Manages budget for assigned development portfolios and
projects. • Partners with business leads to manage overall budget
process. • Works with technology vendors and internal resources to
provide cost efficient solutions to business requirements. • Communicates project status and issues to senior
management. • Provides input to proposals for vendor selection. • Partners with Development, Quality Assurance, and Release Management to ensure project solutions are implemented in a
repeatable and reliable manner. • Ensures adherence to project timelines, budget, and
quality standards. • Assists in the identification, isolation, resolution, and communication of issues within the testing and production
environments. • Works with various development teams and provides leadership
to developers to ensure adherence to all established development
methodology, processes, and best practices. • Provides a leadership role in defining and implementing
best practices and standards across the group. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Engineering Management,
Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a
closely related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or
five (5) years of experience project managing mainframe and Web-based
application development initiatives within an equity compensation or stock
plan services environment; or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or
foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering,
Engineering Management, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of
experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience project
managing mainframe and Web-based application development initiatives within an
equity compensation or stock plan services environment. Candidate must
also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) providing technology
project management support during stock plan events -- ESPP purchases,
RSA/RSU vesting and distribution periods, and grant load activities --
using Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban; DE
performing complex information technology project estimation, including
creating models to test and estimate formulas and project changes; and
writing SQL and AQT queries to perform technical analysis and data mining
for project resource and timing estimation within a DB2 and Oracle
environment; DE analyzing and designing data flows for mainframe and Web-based
