Job Description:

Duties: Will support the testing of Fidelity automation, web services,

electronic messaging, and brokerage infrastructure components delivered to

internal and external applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Review design specifications and escalate potential issues to

development and business sponsors.

• Participate in the definition, implementation, and continuous

improvement of policies, processes, and procedures to deliver a consistent

and reliable product to businesses and customers.

• Work in conjunction with functional groups to identify potential

future improvements to the overall process, requirements gathering,

documentation, and test templates.

• Develop test plans and test cases to test system enhancements and

improvements.

• Develop and execute automated and manual tests using Selenium,

SoapUI, UFT, and Quality Center.

• Execute test plans according to published project plan.

• Research and resolve system related issues.

• Maintain metrics for project testing status.

• Provide status reports and summary signoff reports.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in

Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,

Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of

experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience performing

Java-based testing; or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign

education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information

Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related

field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of

experience performing Java-based testing. Candidate must also possess:

Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) designing and developing automation

frameworks using Selenium WebDriver for managed account platforms and

products for client experience applications; DE programming in advanced

Java, writing build scripts using Maven, and performing data validation

using Oracle Database and Splunk; DE using Jenkins for continuous

integration and using git stash for source control management within a

Waterfall or Agile development environment; DE executing functional

testing; performing requirement analysis; designing test approaches, test

plans, and work estimations; and conducting defect tracking using HP

Quality Center within a geographically distributed team.
