Job Description:
Duties: Supports the development of scalable and highly
available Web applications, using Java, JSP, HTML, and XML, within a stock
plan services and 401k compliance environment. Assists with Web page design,
application development, quality assurance, and implementation. Performs
systems analysis for medium to large sized projects. Documents
requirements and creates specifications for Web-based transaction processing
applications using Agile methodologies (JIRA, story writing, story
estimation, and story tracking) and Waterfall methodologies. Primary Responsibilities: • Works with business partners and technology partners to
identify, review, define, interpret, and clarify scope of work in terms of
business and/or system requirements and processes. • Contributes to the analysis strategy for technology
projects culminating in the creation of documentation to support project
needs. • Recommends changes to existing systems design to achieve requirements, and recommends designs for new systems based on
requirements. • Documents objectives, use cases, requirements, and
specifications. • Monitors documentation standards and best practices. • Recommends traceability improvements. • Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope, and
work on multiple projects concurrently. • Works directly with the user community for project
definition. • Communicates project plan information, objectives, and
deliverables to the team. • Works on complex assignments and on multiple phases of a
project. • Assists in defining analysis strategy. • Identifies and records risks, issues, dependencies, and
assumptions in accordance with project standards. • Participates in the review and validation of Quality Assurance
test plans to ensure requirements have been met. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology,
Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3)
years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience
performing systems analysis and designing Web-based transaction
processing applications in a stock plan services and 401K compliance
environment; or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent)
in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology,
Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1)
year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience
performing systems analysis and designing Web-based transaction
processing applications in a stock plan services and 401K compliance
environment. Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”)
designing Web- based transaction applications for stock plan services and
compliance, including restricted stock units, stock appreciation rights,
restricted stock awards, phantom stock units, Non-Discrimination Testing,
and DOL 5500 testing rules and requirements, according to Waterfall and
Agile methodologies; DE writing SQL queries to extract data from
relational databases, including DB2, Oracle, and Sybase -- using AQT and
Rapid SQL; DE testing RESTful and SOAP service responses, using SOAtest,
SoapUI, and Swagger; DE setting up and applying security specifications
according to CS203 standards for Web applications to prevent
