Job Description:
Duties: Works as part of a team to resolve Software
Configuration Management (SCM) related issues. Primary Responsibilities: • Performs analysis and provides operational support. • Supports the development process, including software builds
and development software configuration in WebSphere environments on
both UNIX and Windows platforms. • Develops basic UNIX and Windows tools to improve personal
and developer productivity. • Responds to developer inquiries related to Rational
environment, which may include any of the following areas: ClearCase,
BuildForge, RRC, RTC, JBE and RAM. • Responds to developer inquiries related to supported SCM
tools, which may include any of the following: GIT/Stash, Jenkins,
Nexus, Sonar, Fortify. • Support s developers in implementing the policies by writing
the Triggers, Hooks in Perl, Shell and Ruby Scripts. • Develops and enhances ANT/NANT/Maven Scripts to use it in
the BuildForge and Jenkins Applications. • Supports application deployments involving tools such as Chef
and uDeploy. • Runs daily stand-up meetings as a Certified Scrum Master. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Engineering,
Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics,
or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in the
job offered or three (3) years of experience in build and release
engineering; or, alternatively, a Master’s degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Engineering,
Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics,
or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience in the job
offered or one (1) year of experience in build and release engineering.
Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) architecting and
implementing next generation release engineering tool sets, including
building proof of concept, and developing enterprise-wide application lifecycle
management (ALM) plan; DE performing Software Configuration Management
(SCM) tasks using ClearCase, CCRC, and UCM within a multi-site environment
and implementing SCM triggers, and performing Linux, UNIX, and
Windows administration; DE in build engineering and implementing Maven,
Nexus, ivy, RAD, Eclipse, Java, and .NET; and DE in build automation and
continuous integration using Buildforge, CruiseControl, Hudson/Jenkins and
