Job Description:

Duties: Provides systems analysis on a development team that is responsible

for Web services across a complicated domain that includes profiling,

analyzing, executing, and monitoring customer portfolios according to Agile

methodologies.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with project stakeholders, project managers, and

analysts across different teams to understand business requirements,

identify dependencies, prepare project estimations, and propose solutions.

• Works with project managers and scrum masters to prepare project

plan, development and production install timelines.

• Drafts and grooms user stories with acceptance criteria and

detailed resource tasks and estimates.

• Writes and reviews system requirements and system dependencies.

• Works with Quality Assurance to develop and execute test cases,

including functional and regression testing.

• Executes test cases and facilitate defect resolution.

• Produces project status documentation and metrics.

• Documents Web services artifacts.

• Executes analysis and evaluates systems.

• Recommends design changes to interrelated system designs to meet

business requirements, improve performance, and reduce costs of ownership.

• Advises senior management on technical strategy.

• Evaluates innovative alternatives and re-uses opportunities.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in

Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,

Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of

experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience in business

analysis, systems analysis, or software engineering of asset management or

retirement product applications; or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or

foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information

Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related

field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of

experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or software engineering

of asset management or retirement product applications. Candidate must also

possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) performing project scope planning

and systems analysis, and creating technical system documentation,

according to Agile methodologies for requirements elicitation, design,

development, QA, and production rollout of high-scale secure customer-

facing websites, using Enterprise Jira to manage development stories; DE

conducting project estimations, analyzing system dependencies, and

performing systems analysis and design, including requirements gathering,

documentation, producing project plan, data mining, and functional design,

using SQL queries in DB2 and Oracle environments, and AQT and UML tools for

object and data modeling on multiple platforms -- Linux, UNIX, and Windows;

DE producing System Delivery Specification (SDS), and assisting with

Technical System Design (TSD) and Transition (TRA) documents for data

movement, data warehouse, and analytical reporting application projects, as

well as producing user stories for the development and quality assurance

teams following Agile methodologies; DE utilizing source code management

and code integration tools -- SourceTree, Stash, Jenkins, and Nexus -- to

review and support project implementations.
