Job Description:
Duties: Serve as a member of Fidelity’s Institutional Brokerage
Development team. Work on a variety of web based development efforts with
our business partners, development team, and quality assurance team. Review
business requirements and test plans. Author technical system
requirements and specifications. Primary Responsibilities: • Work with business partners and technology partners to
identify, review, define, interpret, and clarify scope of work in terms of
business and/or system requirements and processes. • Contribute to the analysis strategy for technology
projects culminating in the creation of documentation to support project
needs, for both Agile and Waterfall Systems Development Life Cycle
projects. • Identify and record risks, issues, dependencies, and
assumptions in accordance with project standards. • Develop System Requirements Analysis (SRA) and maintain the
UI requirements and design throughout the project life cycle. • Document and execute DIT test cases. • Identify issues and recommend solutions. • Participate in the review and validation of Quality Assurance
test plans to ensure requirements have been met. • Develop user stories/use cases, functional decomposition, and
data flow diagrams to graphically represent user actions and system
design. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology,
Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics or a closely related field and three (3)
years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience
in business or systems analysis within an asset management brokerage
environment; or alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent)
in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology,
Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics or a closely related field and one (1) year
of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience in
business or systems analysis within an asset management brokerage
environment. Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Experience (“DE”)
leading requirements gathering efforts from business and technology
partners (onshore and offshore) in a cross functional organization
(product management, project management, analysts, quality assurance,
engineers and architects), and translating business requirements into
functional specifications for brokerage systems serving Registered
Investment Advisors, Registered Representatives, and Investors; DE defining
the analysis strategy and project estimation for brokerage
technology projects, including order entry, positions, history, multi-account
constructs, account details/profile, and analysis of context aware
navigation to support the creation and management of analysis and
specification documents; DE using hierarchical personalization systems and
entitlement driven authorization systems to develop analysis and
specification documents that outline customized implementations of brokerage
systems for brokerage dealer and registered investment advisor firms; DE
utilizing enterprise tools for executing project deliverables -- JIRA,
Confluence, HP Quality Center, MS Visio, Git/Stash, SQL Developer and SOAP
