Job Description:

Duties: Will serve as a Senior Reporting and Tools Analyst in the Portfolio

Management Office (PMO) organization within Fidelity’s Personal Investing

(PI) Division. The PMO collaborates with a breadth of customers including

key decision-making bodies (e.g. Investment and Steering Committees),

business and technology leadership team members and project delivery teams.

Our team partners with these customers to influence decision-making, inform

decisions based on portfolio trends and conditions, and identify and assist

in the resolution and escalation, as necessary, of execution risks.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work with the PWI, Reporting and Tools team to gather and evaluate

information required for requirements, elaboration and development of

Business Intelligence (BI) reporting and tools initiatives to support the

internal PI PMO and the larger PI and SD community.

• Maintain and enhance current BI reports and dashboards, and develop

new reports based on defined requirements.

• Maintain and produce legacy reporting on a daily basis.

• Translate requirements into high level dashboards that are valuable

to a senior level audience, and provide detailed supporting information to

a lower level audience within the organization.

• Adhere to project timelines and proactively resolve any issues with

reports.

• Ensure that tasks, processes and reports are accurate and complete.

• Contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in

Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,

Mathematics, Physics or a closely related field and three (3) years of

experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience in systems

analysis and software development applying Business Intelligence (BI)

methodologies within a financial services big data and VLDB environment;

or, alternatively, a Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in

Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,

Mathematics, Physics or a closely related field and one (1) year of

experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience in systems

analysis and software development applying Business Intelligence (BI)

methodologies within a financial services big data and VLDB environment.

Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) utilizing and

supporting BI tools -- Business Objects, Informatica, Hyperion Brio

Intelligence, and Tableau -- to create canned and ad-hoc reports,

dashboards, and analytical solutions; DE manipulating “flat file” data

sources including text files, excel, comma delimited, and tab delimited

file formats to provide Business Intelligence reporting; DE in data

modeling; and data visualization using Tableau Desktop, including

worksheets, dashboards, calculated fields, table calculations, parameters,

dual axis graphs, and data blending; DE applying institutional business

processes to engage and gather customer requirements, perform system

analysis and develop solutions using RAD and Waterfall methodologies.
