Job Description:
Duties: Serve as a member of the Performance Testing and
Engineering team, which is responsible for the design, testing, and monitoring of
high performing financial service products. Conduct performance
testing for multiple projects with aggressive delivery schedules.
Responsible for project management and performance testing of multi-tiered
distributed applications. Primary Responsibilities: • Develop test strategies using project artifacts as well as
in-depth interviews of architects and development leads. • Create or modify performance scripts for Web based
applications using HP LoadRunner with the Web, Web Services and JAVA
protocols. • Execute performance tests on applications to assure capacity
and stability of the applications meet requirements for production
deployment. • Monitor all impacted systems for network connection
disruptions and any obscure application behavior resulting from a network
anomaly. • Measure resource consumption of components and processes
and latency at measurable points. • Identify application bottlenecks and assist engineers with improving application performance and reducing latency. • Provide performance testing results, interim reports, and
final reports summarizing results and recommendations to senior
management. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology,
Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics or a closely related field and three (3)
years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience
in performance testing and engineering; or, alternatively, a
Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science,
Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics,
Physics or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience in the job
offered or one (1) year of experience in performance testing and
engineering. Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) in
performance testing of Online Transaction Processing Applications and
webservices within Java (Websphere/Weblogic/TomCat)/.NET environments using
HP LoadRunner; DE in scripting of Web based multi-tier applications
using Web (HTTP \ HTML), Webservices, Java, RDP, Truclient Protocols in
HP LoadRunner; DE identifying performance degradation and
bottlenecks in a J2EE/.NET environment and conducting monitoring and analysis of
application performance using SiteScope, CA Wily, Dynatrace, OEM and Splunk;
DE in performance test results analysis and data mining by writing
