Job Description:

Duties: Will serve as part of the Asset Management Data Organization,

providing stewardship on Data Governance, Quality and Business Intelligence

across a variety of Asset Management data domains. Will leverage

technologies and tools including SQL, Oracle OBIEE, Oracle PL/SQL, Sybase

Power Designer, Informatica, Unix scripting, Jira, Crucible and Autosys to

manage data as an enterprise asset.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Partner with Asset Management business and technology teams to

drive the on-boarding and rollout of business glossary, data taxonomy and

data strategy to support critical functions across multiple, interrelated

subsystems.

• Gather information requirements and work with business users to

maintain specific business data elements.

• Serve as a data quality evangelist to advocate and architect data

quality rules, and lead and conduct issue tracking, reporting and proactive

monitoring.

• Build and maintain data models for various data domains, including

business process models.

• Troubleshoot data related issues reported by business users and

internal teams, and collaborate with business and technology teams to drive

resolution.

• Work with upstream systems to ensure data consistency and accuracy,

and conduct research to determine corrective actions and interpret trends

and patterns in complex datasets.

• Plan and coordinate the project life-cycle schedule for complex

implementations across geographically diverse teams.

• Assist in developing guidelines and standards for the data modeling

checklist, governance process and for cataloging and maintaining data

repositories.

Requirements Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in

Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,

Mathematics, Physics or a closely related field and five (5) years of

experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience in structured

development of Oracle relational database systems, including specification

design, development, implementation, and production environment support;

or, alternatively, a Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in

Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,

Mathematics, Physics or a closely related field and three (3) years of

experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience in

structured development of Oracle relational database systems, including

specification design, development, implementation, and production

environment support. Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise

(“DE”) in data analysis, data modeling, database development, performance

tuning and query optimization using ER-Win/PowerDesigner, SQL, Oracle

PL/SQL, Unix scripting, PERL, Jira, Crucible and Autosys; DE in Business

Intelligence, data movement and data extraction, transformation, and load

(ETL) using Oracle OBIEE, Informatica, Golden Gate and IBM Change Data

Capture; DE in data management of buy-side mission critical, enterprise-

wide financial data, including support and operations management of data

failures; and training systems teams on data latency at data integration

points; DE in project management according to standard SDLC, and utilizing

Agile methodologies with Agile Application Lifecycle management tool --

Rational Team Concert.
