***Multiple Positions Available*** Produces automation scripts, using Java and Java Script.
Conducts Application Programming Interface (API) testing, using
RestAssured and Karate. Performs efficient test automation, using
Continuous Integration/ Continuous Development (CI/CD)
methodologies and tools (Jenkins and Git). Develops software
applications, using Cucumber and Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
methodologies. Develops and maintains automated test suites to
ensure product quality and software release readiness. Uses
business knowledge to translate the vision for divisional
initiatives into business solutions by developing complex or
multiple software applications and conducting studies of
alternatives. Analyzes and recommends changes in project
development policies, procedures, standards, and strategies to
development experts and management. Primary Responsibilities: Participates in architecture design teams. Defines and implements application level architecture. Develops applications on complex projects, components, and
subsystems for the division. Recommends development testing tools and methodologies and
reviews and validates test plans. Responsible for QA readiness of software deliverables. Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications
or subsystems. Establishes full project life cycle plans for complex projects
across multiple platforms. Responsible for meeting project goals on-time and on-budget. Advises on risk assessment and risk management strategies for
projects. Plans and coordinates project schedules and assignments for
multiple projects. Acts as a primary liaison for business units to resolve various
project/technology issues. Provides technology solutions to daily issues and technical
evaluation estimates on technology initiatives. Advises senior management on technical strategy. Mentors junior team members. Performs independent and complex technical and functional
analysis for multiple projects supporting several divisional
initiatives. Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going
development efforts. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years
of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience
developing hybrid automation frameworks (Modular and Data
Driven). Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely
related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered
or three (3) years of experience developing hybrid automation
frameworks (Modular and Data Driven). Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) developing core components -- base
page driver initialization and core utilities which consist of
reusable functions (Read Excel data and Query the record from
Database); orchestrating Base Test Class file with multiple levels
of TestNG annotations actions; achieving robust framework to handle
browsers and host type (local or remote) on triggering execution
from TestNG xml or POM xml file. DE integrating Selenium WebDriver Automation scripts with GitLab
CI/CD pipeline and Azure DevOps build pipeline to achieve scheduled
run for regression suite for light out testing; configuring
Selenium Grid on Virtual machine and Amazon Web Services EC2
instance using Docker Containers; executing scripts across browsers
to ensure application browser compatibility; configuring Jfrog
Artifactory to maintain automation execution test results; and
coordinating with DevOps teams in integrating test automation build
pipeline with release pipeline. DE developing WorkSoft Certify Automation scripts for Web UI
application; and configuring WorkSoft Certify Execution Manager
with Azure DevOps TFS pipeline to execute scripts on automation
servers for light out testing. DE collaborating with product owners, business analysts, and
technical stakeholders on identifying key business functionalities;
analyzing requirements to identify impacted applications (upstream
and downstream interfaces); in all the phases of the Scrum Agile
development process; developing and maintaining testing artifacts
(test plan, test scenario, and daily/weekly status and test summary
reports); and managing testing artifacts in HP ALM test management
