Job Description:
Will work in the "Agile" application development process that
works very closely with business partners and related technology teams.
Will take oral and written business requirements and develop efficient code to
meet deliverables. Will participate in the development, enhancement
and maintenance of database applications both as an individual
contributor and as a team member. Will drive stored procedure design for
projects and create PL/SQL database procedures and packages. Will design
batch cycle procedures on major projects using Unix shell scripting and
Control M. Will perform functional analysis for major projects supporting
several corporate initiatives. Will act as an expert technical resource
across functional organizations and monitor performance of project
plans. Will work with IT partners and user community for project definition
and will work on multiple platforms and multiple projects. Will perform
independent technical analysis on complex projects and code and unit test
for complex scope modules and projects. Will work on multiple projects
concurrently, develop primarily on Oracle, and act as a technical resource for
others. Will participate in rotation-based Production Support
activities, communicate clearly and be proactive in independently driving
issues through solution and conclusion. Education and Experience: B.S. (or foreign educational equivalent) in Computer
Applications, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics, and 3 years
experience in job offered or 3 years experience developing Financial Services
Risk Systems within an Oracle environment. Skills and Knowledge: (1) Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) optimizing the load and
performance of large data sets in batch processing using Oracle and
Informatica. (2) DE developing risk management system components -- rules
engines to define risk parameters, and margin requirement calculation
engines to determine risk profiles using PL/SQL in an Oracle database
environment. (3) DE in UNIX Shell Scripting and scheduling using
