Job Description:
Designs and builds large-scale Web and or native mobile
applications. Performing end-to-end DevSecOps automation with
Continuous Integration and Deployment pipelines including unit,
component, functional, performance, and security test automation.
Manages data in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure. Draws on
in-depth knowledge of the business or function to provide business
unit-wide solutions by developing complex, multi-faceted software
applications. Researches and recommends new technologies in support
of the strategic direction of the business unit and participates in
the research and recommendation of appropriate models, methods,
tools, and technologies to achieve business-unit-wide
solutions. Primary Responsibilities: Translates and incorporates business vision and strategy to
architectural strategy recommendations at the functional level. Participates in high-level, cross- functional architecture
design teams. Identifies and consults with internal and external technical
resources to produce cross-company strategic designs. Guides a DevSecOps team in creating solutions for business and
technical partners. Consults on development and delivery of major technology
initiatives for the business unit. Consults on deployment of major project deliverables. Consults on the documentation of major technology
application. Oversees the technical implementation of cross-divisional or
company architectural components. Initiates and drives project or strategy discussions with users
or external groups to resolve issues. Sets vision, goals, and direction of team/organization. Plans and leads organization-wide initiatives. Creates standards and processes to monitor and improve delivery
times. Provides leadership, technical supervision, and expertise to
multiple teams in broad technical areas on complex
organization-wide projects. Advises senior management on technical strategy. Researches and recommends new technologies. Works across groups to identify opportunities for
organization-wide technology initiatives. Regularly provides guidance, training, and coaching to other
team members for performance and career development. Measures, collects, and uses data to make business
decisions. Determines technical approaches at a strategic level for the
business unit. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and six (6) years
of experience in the job offered or six (6) years of experience
creating Web applications within a continuous integration,
deployment, and delivery environment. Or alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely
related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered
or four (4) years of experience creating Web applications within a
continuous integration, deployment, and delivery environment. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) performing full stack development --
building workforce connect and digital roadmaps, and performing
onboarding Cloud Web applications and scalable Web services, using
React, Vue, Angular, and Svelte technologies for front-end and
NodeJS, Java, Python, and Groovy for back-end applications --
within SQL and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, Postgres, MongoDb,
and Amazon Web Services (RDS). DE performing release engineering and DevOps for on-premise and
Cloud based applications, using uDeploy, Jenkins, and Docker;
implementing release compliance standards for traceability and
auditability of releases and Continuous Integration/Continuous
Delivery (CI/CD), using uDeploy, Jenkins, Amazon Web Services (AWS)
and Docker; and implementing automated solutions to monitor and
govern quality, security, auditability, and traceability of
releases, using uDeploy, Jenkins, and Docker. DE performing value stream mapping of organization and Software
Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process optimization and
transformation according to Lean Agile methodologies; leading
organizational change initiatives and engineering teams to
implement transformational Information Technology (IT) objectives;
performing data analysis and visualization, using WebFocus Report
Castor, Grafana, and Tableau; and training and coaching software
engineering teams throughout the Agile transformation process. DE developing enterprise Cloud-based solutions, using AWS ECS,
Route 53, Lambda, EKS, S3, and VPC; architecting fast and scalable
distributed micro services; performing application containerization
using Docker; and implementing continuous monitoring solutions,
