Job Description:
Builds scalable and optimized Business Intelligence (BI)
reporting solutions to satisfy the needs of compliance, risk, and
business operations. Reports and develops complex and optimized
reports based on business requirements using Oracle Business
Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE). Performs data analysis and
writes scripts to address business problems using SQL. Develops
interactive dashboards using Tableau. Provides business solutions
by developing complex or multiple software applications. Primary Responsibilities: Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going
development efforts. Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in
multiple platforms. Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several
divisional initiatives. Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to
implementation. Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance
testing. Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications
supporting several corporate initiatives. Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems. Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope. Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a
project. Performs independent and complex technical and functional
analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3)
years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of
experience developing data warehouse and visualization systems that
support compliance functions in an asset management
environment. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely
related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or
one (1) year of experience developing data warehouse and
visualization systems that support compliance functions in an asset
management environment. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) designing and developing Business
Intelligence (BI) solutions to create dashboards and consumer ready
reports, using OBIEE, Oracle BI publisher reporting, and Tableau;
and performing data analysis and modeling logical, physical, and
presentation -- using Oracle RPD tool. DE designing and developing fund information platform
applications to perform complex functionalities according to
business requirements in Oracle, using PL/SQL stored procedures,
Toad, and SQL Developer; and creating and scheduling batch jobs
using Autosys. DE developing BI solutions -- OBIEE -- and supporting business
critical applications within a financial services and asset
management compliance environment; applying software development
best practices -- source code management -- using Git and
Bitbucket; and driving epics, stories, and tasks using project
management methodologies -- Agile, Scrum, or Kanban -- and
Jira. DE designing complex data environments in an engineering,
design, and architecture capacity in enterprise Data Lakes and
marts, and Operations Databases, using Erwin and Power
