Job Description:

Crafts, codes, and unit tests new functionalities in an Agile environment. Deploys applications in a DevOps environment using Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools -- Git/Bitbucket Server (Stash), Jenkins, and uDeploy. Using the Control flow system like Control-M and ETL tool Informatica to process the Batch Jobs. Builds and supports server-side components, using REST API and backend SQL and Stored Procedure Components. Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.

Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.

Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.

Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.

Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.

Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.

Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.

Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.

Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.

Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Engineering Management, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience building multi-tier distributed software applications for regulatory disclosure reporting within an equity compensation and financial services environment.

Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Engineering Management, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience building multi-tier distributed software applications for regulatory disclosure reporting within an equity compensation and financial services environment.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

Demonstrated Expertise (DE) implementing employer contribution management systems according to business requirements, architecture standards, and Agile methodologies, using Java/J2EE technologies, Drools, Spring MVC, Spring Boot frameworks, JIRA, and Confluence; participating in Agile ceremonies -- SCRUM, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming; developing orchestration and high performant application components, using Kafka and Camel; and identifying and providing solutions for performance bottle necks, using Datadog, Splunk, and Dynatrace.

DE developing backend services on Oracle database, using SQL and PL/SQL, SQL Developer; performing deployment operations using Continuous Integration (CI) tools -- Jenkins and Maven; performing configuration management using GIT stash; and performing Test Driven Development (TDD), using Unit and JUnit testing techniques and SONAR.

DE designing and implementing front-end Web applications according to industry standards, using Angular and Visual code.

DE deploying distributed financial reporting applications for application build and release management on Docker/Rancher, Tomcat, Jenkins, GIT Stash, uDeploy, and Artifactory, Maven.
