Job Description:
Provides full stack software development, using Java, C#, C++,
.Net, RESTful, SOAP, MySQL, SQLServer, Oracle, and Sybase. Performs
all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle using Test Driven
Development (TDD), Behavior Driven Development (BDD), and
Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools --
Jenkins, TFS, Bamboo, and uDeploy. Designs, develops, tests, and
deploys software applications, using Javascript, Typescript, GIT,
Peri, Php, Python, Jython. Groovy, and Ruby. Uses business
knowledge to translate the vision for divisional initiatives into
business solutions by developing complex or multiple software
applications and conducting studies of alternatives. Analyzes and
recommends changes in project development policies, procedures,
standards, and strategies to development experts and
management. Primary Responsibilities: Participates in architecture design teams. Defines and implements application level architecture. Develops applications on complex projects, components, and
subsystems for the division. Recommends development testing tools and methodologies and
reviews and validates test plans. Responsible for QA readiness of software deliverables. Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications
or subsystems. Establishes full project life cycle plans for complex projects
across multiple platforms. Responsible for meeting project goals on-time and on-budget. Advises on risk assessment and risk management strategies for
projects. Plans and coordinates project schedules and assignments for
multiple projects. Acts as a primary liaison for business units to resolve various
project/technology issues. Provides technology solutions to daily issues and technical
evaluation estimates on technology initiatives. Advises senior management on technical strategy. Mentors junior team members. Performs independent and complex technical and functional
analysis for multiple projects supporting several divisional
initiatives. Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going
development efforts. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years
of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience
performing full stack software development, using automation and
Cloud technologies -- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment
(CI/CD) -- in a financial services environment. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely
related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered
or three (3) years of experience performing full stack software
development, using automation and Cloud technologies -- Continuous
Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) -- in a financial
services environment. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) acting as a technical lead in the
development and delivery of quality products and releases for
Oracle database technologies, RESTful Web services APIs,
on-premises and Amazon Web Services (AWS) DevOps, AWS technologies,
Snowflake, AWS RDS (Aurora Postgres) database and deployment, and
ETL Batch processing, using Linux Shell scripting and
Informatica. DE designing and implementing automation focused, secure,
compliant embedded approaches for Oracle database, AWS RDS, and
Snowflake technical development using certified CI/CD; implementing
DevOps tools -- Jenkins and Udeploy -- for database code objects;
deploying Linux batch scripts to System Integration Test (SIT),
User Acceptance Test (UAT), and production environments; and
performing data modelling, transformation, and loading across data
consuming applications, using Agile principle and
methodologies. DE performing test automation projects (on-premises and AWS
Cloud) on mobile applications to deliver available and
cost-efficient solutions for bug free systems used to create
business solutions using DevOps technologies -- Jenkins Pipeline,
IBM Udeploy, AWS ECR, ECS, and Code Pipeline. DE developing and coordinating test plans and execution, using
HP Quality Center and Jira; performing development and integration
of Java using Sprint Boot applications; performing Oracle,
Snowflake, and AWS Aurora database application development
according to Test Driven and Behavioral Driven methodologies (TDD
and BDD); and developing and testing front-end applications and
Rest APIs using integrated development environments (IDE) --
