Job Description:

Designs and develops key Business Intelligence (BI) applications -- Operations Data Store (ODS), OBIEE, Erwin, Power Designer BI Publisher, Informatica Power Center, Informatica Power Exchange, Informatica Data Quality, Python, DMS, and Azure Data Factory. Performs software application development using Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools -- GIT, Jenkins, and Jira. Implements applications using Data Warehouses according to Agile methodologies. Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.

Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.

Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.

Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.

Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.

Responsible for post-installation validation and resolution of any problems.

Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.

Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.

Works with business analysts and technical experts to analyze business requirements.

Works with data modelers to create and modify database tables per business requirements.

Works with database administrators for code elevation for production environments.

Researches and fixes production issues.

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience designing and developing fund information platform applications.

Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience designing and developing fund information platform applications.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

Demonstrated Expertise (DE) designing and developing fund information platform applications, using Informatica, Oracle, OBIEE, Control-M, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, Oracle, and PostgreSQL; designing and developing ETL/ELT applications, using Informatica Power Center, Informatica Power Exchange, Informatica Data Quality, Data Migration Services, Python, Azure Data factory, and Shell Scripting; and performing data validations to maintain accuracy and data integrity.

DE designing and developing BI solutions to create dashboards and client ready reports, using OBIEE, Oracle BI publisher reporting, and Power BI.

DE designing and coding PL/SQL stored procedures to perform complex functionalities according to business requirements in Oracle, PostgreSQL, Sybase, and SQL Server; and creating and scheduling batch jobs using Control-M.

DE designing complex data environments in an engineering, design, and architecture capacity in enterprise Data Lakes, Data marts, and Operations Databases using Erwin and Power Designer.
