Job Description:
Crafts reusable, maintainable, and scalable software, using Java
and Python. Leads, innovates, and revitalizes test automation
efforts. Designs, develops, and modifies complex and major software
systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to
predict and measure the outcomes and consequences of designs. Primary Responsibilities: Establishes substantial scale and efficiencies for the team. Consults on the development and delivery of major technology
initiatives for the business unit. Oversees the technical implementation of cross-divisional
components. Sets visions, goals, and direction of the team/organization. Delivers software projects and manages an Agile team. Drives business goals by collaborating with development and
business teams. Collaborates with development and DevOps engineers to achieve
faster delivery speeds in an Agile environment. Champions best practices for all aspects of the engineering
lifecycle. Reduces testing cycle times and increases test coverage by
leading revitalization test automation effort. Improves stability and resiliency of critical business processes
and applications. Leads associates in their growth and development and ensures
alignment on the how of the work they perform in squads. Plans and coordinates with various team leaders to use, reuse,
and improve existing automation dashboards and methodologies. Acts as a team lead in the design and implementation of reusable
test automation artifacts. Develops and directs software system testing and validation
procedures, programming, and documentation. Plans and leads organization-wide initiatives. Advises senior management on technical strategy. Provides leadership, technical supervision, and expertise to
multiple teams in broad technical areas on complex
organization-wide projects. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and six (6) years
of experience in the job offered or six (6) years of experience
performing software quality assurance and test automation of
digital platform applications. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely
related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered
or four (4) years of experience performing software quality
assurance and test automation of digital platform applications. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) architecting and designing automated
frameworks for testing front-end, User Interfaces (UI), Web
services, and back-end platforms -- DBCS, DBES Batches,
NetBenefits, PSW, and Content Management System (Tridion) -- for
validating responsive UI designs, and executing loans,
withdrawals/rollovers, exchanges, pension flows, and real-time
service responses, using Selenium, Cucumber, RestAssured, Galen,
AppliTool, SeeTest, Parasoft SOATest, and Virtualize. DE creating antagonistic/chaos test suites for digital platforms
to validate application resiliency, fail-over, and performance,
using Gremlin and HTTP client. DE building resilient infrastructure by containerizing Selenium
Grid, SeeTest, and automation suites, using Docker on Linux
platform. DE performing Continuous Integration (CI) of build and deploy
processes, using Jenkins, Git, Maven, Ant, UDeploy, Artifactory,
and Remote Execution Engine; and testing Defined Benefits (DB)
client servers -- desktop, DB Enterprise Server Batches,
NetBenefits, PSW, and Content Management Systems (CMS) -- using
Jenkins, Git, Maven, Ant, UDeploy, Artifactory, and Remote
