Job Description:
Facilitates and coordinates logistics for Agile ceremonies --
backlog prioritization, sprint planning, daily scrum, and
retrospectives. Performs issue tracking using JIRA. Works within a
multi-team framework -- SAFe, Scrum@Scale, and LeSS. Adheres to
Agile methodologies to enhance firm efficiency. Performs release
management coordination and participates in scaling events and
activities while managing interdependencies across the team.
Advises, mentors, coaches, and trains a team on performance against
Agile values, practices, and processes to accelerate squad value
delivery. Maintains a product backlog and removes roadblocks for
the team. Primary Responsibilities: Plans project work and provides updates to stakeholders on
progress, target delivery dates, and risks. Works on complex assignments with multiple dependencies in a
scaled Agile framework. Facilitates and coordinates Agile events within the team --
daily Scrum, backlog refinement, sprint and quarterly planning, and
retrospectives. Coordinates and collaborates with stakeholders, leaders, and
other teams to enable efficient and quality delivery of end-to-end
products. Accelerates overall team performance, efficiency, and value
delivered by identifying opportunities to improve Agile maturity
and metrics, removing impediments, and providing coaching,
training, and resources to the team. Maintains and updates teams performance metrics and artifacts to
ensure accurate and clear feedback to team members and transparency
to stakeholders. Supports adoption and consistent use of Agile enabling
tools. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3)
years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of
experience supporting software development of new products in a
financial services industry according to Agile and Scrum
methodologies. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely
related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or
one (1) year of experience supporting software development of new
products in a financial services industry according to Agile and
Scrum methodologies. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) generating and collating data for
analytical purposes -- increasing productivity, improving quality
score, reducing cost, and acting as a member of a product
development team responsible for driving scale and efficiency --
using Business Objects (SAP) and Tableau; managing financial
quality assurance projects, using Agile tools and methodologies --
Scrum, Kanban, and Jira; acting as a member of a software
development team -- participating in project sprints, release
planning, backlog creation, story estimation, daily scrums, sprint
reviews, and retrospectives -- according to Scrum
methodologies. DE reinforcing Agile practices, norms, and events, using SAFe,
Scrum@Scale, Scrum, and Kanban; and supporting overall team
performance and efficiency by coordinating logistics for Agile
events and practices, including backlog maintenance, sprint
planning, daily scrums, and retrospectives. DE monitoring, evaluating, and updating team's progress against
acceptance criteria, using JIRA, JIRA Align, and Confluence; work
with business and technology partners to ensure integration and
coordination of development and delivery strategies to ensure
continuous communication with stakeholders, using Zoom, Microsoft
Teams, and Mural. DE removing software development project roadblocks and
escalating to senior management as needed; coordinating
dependencies and end-to-end deliverables; managing quality software
builds; coaching a software development team in Agile principles;
