Job Description:

Develops high throughput microservices for transaction processing systems that process high volumes of data in short spans of time. Builds service-based brokerage platforms on real-time processing according Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles. Designs, builds, and deploys highly scalable, automated, and resilient infrastructure solutions on Cloud. Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple simultaneous projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.

Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.

Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.

Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.

Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptanceand performance testing.

Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.

Responsible for post-installation validations.

Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.

Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.

Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience developing microservices based transaction processing systems within a financial transaction processing environment.

Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience developing microservices based transaction processing systems within a financial transaction processing environment.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

Demonstrated Expertise (DE) analyzing, designing, and developing Cloud ready, scalable micro-services, stand-alone and production ready Spring applications according to Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles using Spring Boot with Spring Ecosystem -- Spring Web, Security, JDBC/JPA, Connection Pooling, OAuth, Actuator, and Core Spring framework modules.

DE designing, developing, and implementing UI Web applications with multi-device support using Single Page Architecture (SPA) including, AngularJS, Angular, JavaScript, Bootstrap CSS, HTML5, and jQuery; and creating SQL queries and store procedures using Oracle SQL/PLSQL.

DE building Cloud ready applications for the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) of application functionalities, using Docker, Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, and IBM Urban Code Deploy; and building or compiling code for binary/executables, using Maven and NodeJS NPM build tools; and storing code with access and version control, using Git, Stash, and Bitbucket version control systems.

DE implementing, testing, and debugging highly scaled secure financial services, consumer, and professional brokerage Web applications according Waterfall and Agile methodologies; and analyzing and migrating legacy portal technologies -- J2EE Web application and Spring security frameworks -- to modern equivalents technologies, using Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Angular.
