Job Description:

Engineers and develops ePreservation applications and infrastructure -- eCommunication (eComm) Data Lakes. Provides application integration, using Application Program Interfaces (API's) for data collection and reporting, and Agile methodologies and JIRA. Ensures optimal reliability and end user experiences by organizing and leveraging performance monitoring.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provisions and maintains infrastructure in public Cloud providers -- Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure.

Analyzes applications, infrastructure, and data flows to identify opportunities to improve and streamline systems.

Assesses performance data and determines system bottlenecks.

Improves NiFi flows and infrastructure within an eComm Data Lake.

Monitors, maintains, and updates AWS Landing Zone and associated infrastructure, and supports data retention platforms.

Ensures the retention platform meets all service levels by working closely with Project Partners, and delivery and production support teams.

Serves as an on-call resource in support of the organization's service model.

Applies systems administration methodologies, best practices, and trends.

Designs, develops, tests, and implements software application systems.

Creates and implements SQL scripts effectively in relation to automation of system and administration tasks.

Supports databases.

Configures and maintains Cloud services.

Monitors application and infrastructure using industry standard monitoring solutions.

Participates in formal reviews of designs, and business and systems requirements.

Develops clear technical documentation based on the analysis of business and systems requirements.

Provides user training and system documentation.

Upgrades interfaces and improves performance.

Ensures systems operate in conformance with specifications by monitoring equipment functionality.

Documents management platform support that meets or exceeds service level commitments.

Analyzes issues and opportunities to improve group solutions and services.

Plans, coordinates, and implements network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Applied Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience implementing and maintaining a compliance records management platform according to Security Exchange Commission (SEC) Rule 17a-4.

Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Applied Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience implementing and maintaining a compliance records management platform according to Security Exchange Commission (SEC) Rule 17a-4.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

Demonstrated Expertise (DE) developing and supporting compliance data retention solutions for official document repositories and C-level executives according to SEC Rule 17 a-4 retention requirements, using Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS or SaaS applications, and Elastic Cloud Storage for WORM storage.

DE performing audit and control remediation of record management platforms to ensure compliance with required controls -- Soc 1, SEC Rule 17 a-4(f), access appropriate to the role, and least privilege.

DE performing data integration, management, and governance using eDiscovery center -- Security and Compliance Center.

DE consulting and analyzing customer electronic communication retention requirements to integrate with record management systems to ensure compliance with required controls -- Soc 1, SEC Rule 17 a-4(f).
