Job Description:
Develops and administers Web applications, using EzPaas for
Config and J2EE standards (HTML, JavaScript, Spring MVC, jQuery,
Java Beans, JDBC, jUnit, Sonar, and JaCoCo). Reviews the progress
of system developments through Continuous Integration/Continuous
Delivery pipelines (CI/CD), using GIT, ITEC stash, Jenkins,
uDeploy, Ant, and Maven. Supports the full stack containerization
and migration of applications to internal and external (Azure)
Cloud. Provides business solutions by developing complex or
multiple software applications. Primary Responsibilities: Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going
development efforts. Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in
multiple platforms. Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several
divisional initiatives. Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to
implementation. Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance
testing. Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications
supporting several corporate initiatives. Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems. Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope. Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a
project. Performs independent and complex technical and functional
analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives. Collaborates with key stakeholders from various business and
technology organizations in an Agile environment. Reviews scheduled builds and install processes. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3)
years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of
experience designing, implementing and supporting Defined Benefit
(DB) applications. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely
related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or
one (1) year of experience designing, implementing and supporting
Defined Benefit (DB) applications. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) performing systems analysis, and
designing, implementing, and supporting DB systems, using HTML,
JavaScript, Spring MVC, Java, C++, GIT, Jenkins, and uDeploy. DE delivering high-scale, customer-facing Website product
rollouts according to Agile methodologies; coordinating development
stories for DB applications -- pension plans, tax rules,
calculations, and payment initiation processes -- using enterprise
Java. DE administering DB pension plans (401a, 415b, 417e,
Non-Qualified SERP, FICA, and disbursements) and solutions (project
estimations, impact analysis, data mining, and writing stored
procedures), using JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Snag It, DBeaver,
Control M, XMind, SQL Developer, and SOAP UI. DE implementing the full stack containerization and migration of
DB applications to internal and public Cloud; integrating REST APIs
with APIGEE; and performing troubleshooting, using Splunk, Datadog,
Helm Charts, Vault, Docker, Kubernetes, ConfigMaps, and
